Pennfield Fine and Practical Arts Showcase
 
The students at Pennfield High School will have the opportunity to celebrate the arts in a very special way:
Student art work will be on display for visitors to view and the Nutrition Classes will be preparing and serving appetizers.
All are welcome to attend this free event in the Pennfield high school cafeteria. Stop by and view the artwork, enjoy a snack and then hear the High School Spring Choir concert at 7:00 pm.
Thursday, May 23 starting at 5:30 pm.

2013-2014 School year
All applicants must be a non-resident of Pennfield Schools and reside in one of the following county districts: Calhoun, Barry or Kalamazoo. Applications are available at www.pennfield.net or by calling the Superintendent’s Office at 269-961-9781.
Unlimited Open Enrollment
Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade
- Applications received by June 7th and approved will be eligible for registration on June 18th
- Applications received after June 7th and approved will be eligible for registration on August 8th
- Application deadline is noon on September 5, 2013

REGISTRATION DATES FOR
RESIDENTS & SCHOOL OF CHOICE STUDENTS
June 18th & Aug 8th at Pennfield High School 7:30 am to 6:30 pm
You will need to bring:
1. Official Birth Certificate
2. Immunization Record
3. Proof of Residency, i.e. Rent Receipt, Mortgage Bill, Utility Bill
School of Choice application received by June 7th will be eligible for June 18th registration if the applicant’s discipline record qualifies acceptance. (The school district may refuse to enroll a nonresident applicant if the applicant has been suspended from another school in the preceding 2 years, if the applicant has been expelled from another school at any time or if the applicant has been convicted of a felony.)

District Advisory Committee (DAC)
The District Advisory Committee is a Board of Education advisory group, whose membership includes parents, students, community, and school staff. This year the DAC is continuing their focus on the importance of family involvement and its significant impact on student performance and academic success. Part of the DAC’s responsibility will be to conduct conversations regarding family involvement, knowledge about the common core curriculum, standards based report cards, and graduation requirements.

Information regarding meeting dates, membership, and minutes from the meetings will be posted.
